Hello All
I have been fishing with my husband who works as a part time guide at an
Orvis endorsed lodge here in Utah called Flacon's Ledge. I started fishing
with him when we went on our 3rd date 13 years ago.
I started flyfishing in 1992. My husband, Kyle is left handed so I spent the
first three years casting right handed and then having to switch the rod to
my left hand to reel in a fish. I got my first right handed reel when a
friend felt sorry for me and gave me an old reel of his. WELL, last year at
Trout Unlimited dinner I won a certificate for a Powell rod and for the
first time, picked my own gear.
Well, this year we went to the fishing show at the Salt Palace and I fell in
love with your magenta reel. It wasn't just the color which is very cool,
BUT I loved the way it felt on a rod and reeling. I also like the clicking
noise it makes.
I know this all seems like rambling but attached is a picture of my 31" 13
lb fish that I caught on 4/30/99 when I got to use the Fly Logic reel for the
first time. I am sorry that there isn't a picture with the reel, but I can't
stand to hold fish so my husband could only get one picture and I have
attached it for your pleasure and publishing.
It took me an hour to land the fish, but I did it all by myself and had a
great time doing it with my new Fly Logic reel.
Thanks for making a flyfishing product that women can really enjoy and isn't
just their husband's leftovers.
