After two bonefishing trips to Abaco in the Bahamas, I am doubly impressed with the performance of my Optimum reel. It performs flawlessly! When I'm staring at the end of my backing and the bone continues to run, the minute adjustments I'm able to make to the drag make a huge difference between landing and losing the fish (not to mention my line)!
This reel, matched to my FlyLogic Optimum + eight weight, is the ideal bone combination. My partner on this recent trip used a very expensive Abel and had nothing but problems with the drag! Feel free to use these pictures! Thanks for great equipment that helps make for a great fishing experience!
