This is a peacock bass that has been introduced to the Singapore freshwater scene. The fat mama was enticed and fought for about 10 minutes before it was landed. It seemed like it was spawning season here in Sept and they are relentless to anything that gets past their nest without being "smacked." I caught a total of seven within two hours simply spoting them from the bank. Peacock bass are a great fighter on light tackle and are also famous for their aerial display.
I was introduced to Fly Logic by Mr Roland when I first started fly-fishing. He is a very patient guy and indeed, a very nice person too.
