MELBA, Idaho. -- October 8, 1999 -- Fly Logic introduces "Fly Fishing The Green River," a new computer game that's as much fun as educational.
In the game, Fly Logic Pro Staff Directors, Gary and Wanda Taylor, guide the angler through the whole fly-fishing process, from the fly shop to the water, offering helpful suggestions on tackle and tactics. Players choose their gear in the shop, select the proper flies for the time of year plus river conditions, and head to the river for a real adventure. The scenes were created using actual photographs of the Green River.
Enhanced for Force-feedback Joysticks, the angler will be able to hook fish and play them as they watch and hear their line run. The ultimate trophy is a 30 pound brown trout. According to game co-developer Ed Cornia, "this is the closest you're going to get to the real thing without a river."
Minimum system requirements are Pentium 120 Mhz or higher CPU, 4X CD-ROM drive, 16 MB RAM, 5 MB free hard drive space (37 MB recommended), Direct X compatible sound and video card, speakers, keyboard, mouse, Windows 95 or 98 or 2000. Force-feedback Joystick optional.
Suggested US retail $29.95
